 Board Structure

In July 2021, Sefton Safeguarding Adults Partnership Board (also referred to as SSAPB) was re-instated and replaced a Multi–Local Authority Merseyside Safeguarding Adults Board (MSAB) which was disbanded. This enables a clear Sefton focus.

Board Vision and Strategic Plan

To ensure the agencies in Sefton who represent our Partnership Board  work together to meet their shared safeguarding responsibilities, a strategic plan is produced and identifies a number of key themes and key areas of focus.

In Sefton, we have formed Strategic Pillars who undertake actions within the Strategic Plan to ensure that we continuously achieve our vision for the people of Sefton.

Annual Report

The work of our Partnership Board  is reviewed and reported on every year via the publication of an Annual Report. This is the key mechanism by which the Safeguarding Adults Partnership Board is held to account for the work it carries out. The Annual Report is shared with the Chief Executive and Leader of Sefton Council, Police and Crime Commissioner and the Health and Wellbeing Board in Sefton.
